Spinning Wrinkles
It can just be terrible when you have a big day at the office and find out that your favorite office shirt is still wrinkly! DON’T PANIC if you have a dryer. Grab a couple of ice cubes and chuck them in the dryer with the shirt. Put the dryer on the hottest setting to get the ice cubes melting to create steam. This steam helps get the wrinkles out of your shirt.
Brittle Gums
How do you usually get rid of gum under your shoe? Hack away at it with a stick? Scrape your shoe across an edged surface till you eventually give up? Well, next time, take your shoe off and place an ice block over the gum. The point is to freeze the gum, which stiffens it and makes it brittle so you can remove it quite effortlessly. If you get gum in your hair, rub in some peanut butter, and you’ll see as you comb your hair, the gum starts loosening.
Misty Mirrors
Trying to shave or put makeup on a foggy mirror is challenging, but trying to dry it when you are in a rush isn’t helpful either. Your reflection becomes a blurry mess! Grab some shaving cream and apply it to a rag, then wipe down the mirrors. The best part of this is that a cooling ingredient in the shaving cream keeps the mirror from fogging up for a couple of weeks.
Ice Trick
This little party trick will show people that you go the extra mile. Water freezes quicker when it goes into the freezer after being boiled. The molecules are constantly vibrating, so when the water is hot, they vibrate very quickly. If you place that water in a freezer, the molecules combine quicker, causing it to solidify and freeze quicker. In addition, the ice has a very cloudy appearance, so if you freeze lemonade or any juice – it will look like little colorful clouds in your drink. Science is a wonderful subject; it can crack codes of the solar system and can get gum out of your hair.
